In the latest issue of the AGS Magazine, In Situ’s John Holt and Thomas Cragg from Cambridge Insitu provided an article on an introduction to pressuremeters.
The detailed write up includes the benefits of using pressuremeters for ground investigation, the types and uses of different pressuremeters including the Flat Dilatometer (DMT) or Machetti Flat Blade Dilatometer, Ménard Pressuremeters and radial displacement pressuremeters as well as exploring the analysis process of raw data obtained.
