In Situ Site Investigation recently sponsored a local charity based in East Sussex. ‘Kids in Mind Angling Adventures’ held its first fishing event for children aged 4-12 last month.

Fishing has been proven by Government scientists to aid the reduction of anxiety and depression so the aim of the charity is to get families out in the open whilst meeting new people and engaging in a new sport. One of our senior CPT operators, Lewis Smith, who set up the charity was pleased with the success of the first event, where 11 local children spent the afternoon learning a new skill and catching some pretty big carp!

Due to the success of the first event, another has been planned for Saturday 25th June and will be held at Wylands Angling Centre in Battle, East Sussex.
