Rankine Lecture

To celebrate our inaugural year of business, we decided to hire a table at the Rankine Dinner. The dinner followed the BGA Rankine lecture given by Andrew Charles from the BRE. It was an interesting talk which outlined the engineering behavior of fill supported by a number of relevant case studies.
After the hugely popular lecture, a sherry reception welcomed everyone who was going to dine. The meal was very nice and was enjoyed all round by our table.

For the raffle, we donated a bottle of 12 year old Glenfidich and a bottle of special reserve Southern Comfort. I was secretly half hoping to win them back, but no such luck! One guest on our table did win a prize of another bottle of Malt Whisky. All proceedings from the raffle went towards RedR.
